Refund & Cancellation Policy

TECHMONKS PLAY (owned by TECHMONKS)

1) Policy Purpose

This policy explains how cancellations (stopping future renewals) and refunds (return of paid amounts) work for TECHMONKS PLAY subscriptions. It is designed to be transparent, fair to users, and protective of the Platform, in line with common Indian consumer expectations for subscription-based digital services.

TECHMONKS PLAY is an OTT-style learning platform providing educational and skill-development content. It does not offer professional certification, job placement, or employment guarantees.

2) Subscription Types Covered

  • Free (₹0)
  • Starter
  • Pro
  • Elite

The Free plan has no payment and therefore has no refund. Paid plans provide digital access immediately after successful payment.

3) Cancellation Policy

  • Users may cancel future renewals (where auto-renewal is applicable).
  • Cancellation stops auto-renewal for the next billing cycle.
  • Cancellation does not revoke access immediately; access remains until subscription expiry.
  • No partial-period cancellations and no pausing subscriptions (MVP).

4) Refund Policy (Critical)

Because TECHMONKS PLAY is a digital subscription service and access is provided immediately after payment, refunds are generally not provided once access is granted.

Exceptional refunds

Refunds may be considered only in limited cases such as:

  • Duplicate payment
  • Technical error on the Platform side that we cannot resolve in a reasonable time
  • Unauthorized transaction (with reasonable proof)

Refunds (if any) are at the sole discretion of TECHMONKS. Refund requests must be raised within 7 days of the transaction date unless a longer period is required by applicable law.

Issuance of certificates is based on learning completion and does not affect refund eligibility.

5) Non-Refundable Cases

  • Change of mind
  • Partial usage
  • Missed live sessions
  • Inability to attend due to personal reasons
  • Lack of usage
  • Upgrade/downgrade dissatisfaction

6) Payment Processor Disclaimer

Payments are securely processed by Razorpay. TECHMONKS PLAY does not store users’ card, bank, or UPI details.

If a refund is approved, it will be initiated via Razorpay. Refund timelines depend on the bank/payment provider and may take 5–10 business days (or as per banking norms).

7) Refund Request Process

To request a refund review, please email support with:

  • Registered email
  • Payment reference ID (order/payment ID)
  • Transaction date
  • Reason for request and supporting proof (if any)

We aim to respond within 3–5 business days with the outcome or next steps.

8) Chargebacks & Disputes

Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks may lead to account suspension. TECHMONKS reserves the right to contest disputes with relevant evidence (transaction references, access logs, Razorpay confirmations, etc.).

9) Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use implies acceptance of the updated policy.

10) Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction shall be India, as permitted by applicable law.
